IMAP Folder

Here a mailbox folder can be assigned to the user that differs from the default entry.

In this folder, the ixi-UMS Voice-Mailbox is searched for new messages when the ixi-UMS Voice-Mail Server on the phone is queried.

Example:

If a subfolder "Voice" is created in the inbox of the user and all the voice mails are moved there rule-based, Inbox/Voice has to be entered here.

If an authorized account is used to access all mailboxes (administrative access), mailbox access configuration is not required.

If no administrative account for mailbox access is used for this mailbox , the user must enter his password via the ixi-UMS Voice-Mailbox Configuration.

Version 7.0 optionally supports the "IndivLoginHomepage".

In this case, note the settings under Mail System - Advanced at ixi-UMS Voice-Mail Server.

If the user name required for the IMAP access is not stored in the LDAP database and can not be read out, this can be entered under Use other IMAP user. Optional this can also be entered by the user via the ixi-UMS Voice-Mailbox Configuration.

If the mailbox is not on the mail server specified in ixi-UMS Voice-Mail Server and the mail server does not support "IMAP4 forwarding" (e.g. Lotus Domino) and if it is not stored in the LDAP database, it must be specified as a different IMAP server.

Note:

If users have to enter the password to access their mailbox, the welcome message has to be sent, because the link to enter the password (only in version 7.0) is included in it or the entry via the ixi-UMS Voice-Mailbox Configuration has to be activated.
