Main window

The main window of estos ProCall Attendant Console gives you access to the functions supporting your everyday work.

The significant sections of the main window will be described by the following material.

My presence

The My Presence section shows you the most important information about your presence, the status of your phone lines and audio/video devices, and your upcoming appointments. In addition to seeing this information, you can go to this section to change your presence state, configure call forwarding settings and access your calendar. You'll find more detailed information on the My Presence section at Your own presence.

Main menu

The main menu can be opened with the main menu button   which is situated in the top right corner.

It has features which will support you in your daily routine or with which you can adjust estos ProCall Attendant Console to your personal needs.

  •   Journal browser
    This menu item will open the Journal Browser. In contrast with the Journal Tab on the main window, you will be able to track all available journal entries.

  •   Inbox
    This entry opens Outlook® to show you your inbox.

  • Display on incoming call (own line)
    Activate this option in the Characteristics sub-menu if the main window is to be displayed for incoming calls. This option is available only if the main window is docked to the edge of the screen.

  • Display on incoming call (all lines)
    Activate this option in the Characteristics sub-menu if the main window is to be displayed when a call comes in from a saved contact (or line). This option is available only if the main window is docked to the edge of the screen.

  • Docked to the edge
    Set this setting in the Viewsub-menu if the main window is to be docked at the edge of the screen as a sidebar. You can also place the main window next to a different screen edge by picking it up and dragging it to the appropriate position.

  • Always on top
    Set this setting in the View sub-menu if the main window is always to be displayed. It can then no longer be covered by other windows.

  • Hide not logged in users
    Configure this setting in the View sub-menu if you don't want to display all users in Favorites or all other contact groups. This will cause only users who are logged in to be visible. In spite of this, all contacts who do not have a presence address as well as all function keys will always remain visible.

  • Group by grouping attributes
    If this setting is activated in the View sub-menu, contact groups are displayed for all grouping attributes used and contacts are sorted according to the grouping attributes which they set for themselves. In this case, all contact groups which were created by administrators or created manually, as well as the contact group in Favorites, are hidden. Users or contacts who do not have a grouping attribute set are displayed in the "Other contacts" group. Function keys appear in the "Keys" group. You can specify the grouping attribute which applies for you in the menu with presence settings and presence profiles, under the item Set grouping attribute.

  • Display group title bar
    Activate this option in the View sub-menu if you want group title bars to always be visible. If contact groups or other tabs are arranged one above the other ("docked"), the title bars will always be visible regardless of this setting.

  • Group title bar position
    Use this option in the View sub-menu to specify the position of tab title bars. You can choose for title bars to be placed at the top, bottom, left or right.

  •   Settings
    Click here to open the Settings. Here you can define or change the most important estos ProCall Attendant Console settings.

  •   Help
    Opens this online help

  •   About ProCall Attendant Console
    Here you get information about the product version of estos ProCall Attendant Console and you have the possibility to get more detailled support informations and log files.

  •   Exit
    Ends estos ProCall Attendant Console.

Agent and call groups

If the telephone system and estos ProCall Attendant Console are configured to use agent or call groups with login/logout function, the groups in which you are a member are displayed. You can log in and out of the groups and (if it is supported) start and stop post-processing.

Search input line

You can use the search input at any time to quickly find your contacts or to simply dial a number. You can immediately re-use the contacts found in the Search tab or save them in the Favourites tab for later use.


The following tabs can be put in the foreground:

  • Contact search
    Lists the hits for a contact search
  • Favorites
    Space for your most important contacts and speed-dial keys
  • Journal
    Collects the last calls made and received
  • Planned
    Saves the planned calls
