The ixi-UMS Voice-Mailbox Configuration can only be used in conjunction with the ixi-UMS Voice-Mail Server ! Via the ixi-UMS Voice-Mailbox Configuration, users can conveniently manage their profile settings and announcements via their browser.
Important: In order to record announcements via the browser-based ixi-UMS Voice-Mailbox configuration, either
·the telephone numbers of the office telephones must be entered in the LDAP database under "telephoneNumber or ·the users can enter their telephone number themselves and/or ·a headset/microphone must be available at the workplace and ixi-UMS User Portal provided via HTTPS. · If no phone number can be read out or no headset is available in the browser, the "record buttons" remain grayed out even when used.
