By installing the ixi-UMS MDS,

·the directory structure displayed below is set up

·the ixi-UMS MDS Render Connector is installed (can be dropped)

·the configuration SnapIns for the ixi-UMS MDS the ixi-UMS Render Connector are registered.

If the ixi-UMS Connectors have been installed before the ixi-UMS, the transfer directories of the ixi-UMS Connectors must be entered manually after the installation of the ixi-UMS MDS.

If you have not executed the changes and configurations as described at "Planning and Preparation" yet, please take the following steps after the installation of the ixi-UMS MDS in the following order:

·Change output directory in the ixi-UMS Connectors (optional)

·Change transfer directoy of the available ixi-UMS Render Connector (optional)

·Configure Apache server for SSL and / or FQDN access

·Set up share for UNC or WebDav access at the ixi-UMS Kernel Servers

·Define locations

·Set up routing table
