The configuration file should only be altered after having consulted ixi-UMS support department.

In the Reg-file, the number of lines for SMS as well as their linkage to the controllers is determined.

This file must only be edited in exceptional cases.

Example 1:

There are 2 ISDN-controllers installed. Only the second controller is used, the first one is disabled at "Hardware - General". In this case, the assignment in the Reg-file must be changed.

Search for < SMSMod1 > in the file.

It is determined at "Value=", which ISDN-controller is the first one to be used for SMS.

Enter "2" here.

Example 2:

If 4 ISDN-controllers are installed and only the second and the fourth controller are in use,

please enter

[Value11] at Value= the value 2

and

[Value12] at Value= the value 4.

The changes are valid after Save, Apply and Restart of the ixi-UMS Kernel.
