Default User Settings

Please take into account that the actual sending feature depends on the services installed at the ixi-UMS Kernel (Fax, SMS, Voice).

For further information, please refer to "Basics - ixi-UMS Notifier Express" and the settings for the ixi-UMS voice-mailbox Configuration.

It can be determined, at which sort and after how many messages an action shall be executed.

Depending on the features implemented, the user can be informed about a new message by MWI or SMS.

Moreover, the user can be called. In this case, the user can listen to the message on the phone.

Remark:

In order to inform the user by MWI, the phone number of the user has to be entered in the User Administration in the following format: +49 8142 4799555.

Remark:

For notifications by SMS, the ISDN-sender number entered in the ixi-UMS tab of the user is used as sender.

Remark:

If e-mails and/or faxes shall be read via telephone, TTS and/or OCR is/are needed.
