Connector Bindings

Each instance of ixi-UMS Mail Server Connector uses one of the local IP addresses/port combinations to receive SMTP messages.

The mail server must send outgoing UMS-messages to this IP-address and port.

Select a free IP address from the list or change the port.

Click on the "Update" button to check the entered combination again.

If several instances are to be used simultaneously, each instance must be assigned its own IP address (which can then also use the same port (standard 25)) or all instances can be linked to the same IP address and a different port can be entered for each. I

If several instances are created but not used at the same time, the combination of IP address and port can be assigned several times. If a combination has already been created, the selection is displayed with an .

f you choose a port that differs from the standard SMTP port 25, make sure that the mail server supports sending to a different port.
