Emergency numbers

The rules for emergency numbers are applied exclusively to softphone lines.
The phone numbers defined here do not go through any further dialing rules.

Some telephone systems support the specification of call-back location-based numbers for dialing an emergency number.
Depending on the prefix in front of the dialed emergency number (110, 112), the telephone system signals a callback phone number stored in the telephone system in the SIP P-Asserted-Identity (PAI) field or in the FROM field.

If ProCall with Softphone is used at different and varying locations, no fixed prefix can be assigned per client. With the "Rules emergency numbers", the required prefixes can be prefixed to the emergency number, depending on the IP address of the logged-in client.

After activating the rules for emergency numbers, subnets, emergency numbers and prefixes can be defined.

Description A name / designation can be specified for each entry. The entry may only contain letters and numbers.
Subnet The subnet must be specified in CIDR notation.
Example: 10.12.13.0/24 or fe80::c91b:d632:2a35:89df%3/60
Emergency numbers Specification of the emergency numbers. Several numbers can be entered separated by commas. The specified emergency numbers must not be assigned as internal extension numbers!
Prefix Specifies the prefix which is to be prefixed to the emergency number and signaled to the PBX. The prefix can consist of numbers, #, *.

To prevent the prefix from being displayed on the ProCall client, it must be removed by means of a rule under "Formatting rules - Outgoing".
The specified emergency numbers must not be assigned as internal extension numbers!
