Web services settings

The web services settings can be found under Services -> Web Services. Here you select the desired service and click on the "Edit" button. Deactivated services can be recognized by a red circle in the first column, these must first be configured via the "Setup" button in order to edit them.

Enabling a Web Service
If the web service has been disabled, access to those pages will not be possible.

Use data from LDAP nodes
Define which data of the LDAP server is available for the web service. Some web services require their own LDAP node, which carries the name of the web service. You configure this via the database management.

Maximum Number of Results
The maximum number of results returned by a search.

Attention: This is the maximum number of data records returned by the web service. This number may be further restricted by individual limitations of the various data sources (e.g. phonebooks). The restriction of your own LDAP database is stored in the MetaDirectoryServer.xml.

Default Language
Language in which the templates are processed. In the "Automatic" setting, the "HTTP Accept-Language" is used.

Handling Telephony Links
You can configure the syntax here if phone numbers are displayed as links in the templates.

The web server templates can be customized. The templates can be found in the wwwroot directory in the estos MetaDirectory installation directory. For more information about the template elements, see Template Parser.
