WebServer

The estos MetaDirectory has an integrated WebServer that can be used to provide an intranet telephone directory. Through central installation on a server, all employees can immediately use the web-based search service of the estos MetaDirectory intranet phone book with all common browsers. The search portal is used for searching and presenting the results. This means that the contact data is available to all authorized persons at all times and in all places. Via an Internet connection, field staff, partners or customers can also search for contacts quickly and without installing software.

Use alternate directory
It is possible to specify an alternative directory for the content presented by the web server. If you want to specify an alternative directory, please copy all data from the wwwroot directory in the estos MetaDirectory installation directory.

HTTP-header dialog
By checking the first checkbox of a row, HTTP headers can be turned on and off.
Clicking on the name or value of a header opens the line in edit mode.
The header will only be send over HTTPS-connections if the TLS checkbox is set.
Clicking the <x>-button deletes the header.
Writing a header to the last line, generates a new empty line. Therefore you can always add new headers.
Recover defaults by pressing the default-button.

Changing the HTTP headers can result in the MetaDirectory web pages no longer being displayed by clients. Changes should therefore only be made in exceptional cases.

Restart server
Restarts the WebServer of the MetaDirectory.

Presents a filtered view of network interfaces that belong to the web-server.
