Installation Preparation

Before you start the installation, some things have to be checked and prepared.

Important:

When the first call comes in, the user receives an "ixi-UMS Welcome E-Mail" with his data, the user manual and the link to the browser-based ixi-UMS Voice-Mailbox Configuration.

The ixi-UMS Voice-Mailbox number is read out from the attribute determined at " Welcome Mail". If no number is inserted there, the called number is entered.

The displayed PIN is entered at the user properties. If there is already a PIN deposited there, e.g. from a previous version, the user is informed about it.

If the user shall receive another attachment, this can be changed.

The "Welcome E-Mail" can be switched off in the ixi-UMS Voice-Mail Server configuration.
