Search

UMS Attribute specifies the LDAP attribute name which contains ixi-UMS user data. The attribute names depend on the LDAP Server being used. However, you can specify any attribute.

Activ Directory with Microsoft Exchange Server

One of the "extensionAttribute" should be used (recommended)

Activ Directory without Microsoft Exchange Server

Any attribute ( e.g: description) or using ixi-UMS Schemaerweiterung

If another attribute is to be used than before, the user data can be migrated. See Additional Informations: ixi-UMS Schema Migration

In the search string template, the attributes in that the UMS-number is searched with inbound messages are displayed.

The search string can be adjusted in the "IXIFramework.ini".

Warning: If the search string contains errors, the LDAP-search cannot be executed here and the ixi-UMS Enterprise system cannot send/receive messages to/from the mail system.
