LDAP

The ixi-UMS Mail Server Connector determines the e-mail address for the incoming messages via LDAP query and checks, for example, the sending authorization for outgoing messages. The query is executed with every incoming and outgoing message. For this feature, only "read" access to the data base is required and can also be executed via the "Global Catalog".

If the users in ixi-UMS User Portal are to use the website for the ixi-UMS User Settings, the account entered here must have "write permission" in the LDAP database. If necessarily a different Port can be entered .
