Mode

For each instance you can define in which mode it should work.

Normal mode

Formats, the header fields and names can be defined and changed as required.  

Compatibility mode

Only files with a specified format are processed.

All format specifications and header fields are preset and cannot be changed.

PCL mode

If "PCL control characters" are specified in the fax messages to be sent, the PCL mode must be activated. All format specifications and header fields are preset and cannot be changed.
