Send faxes via control characters in the text

The ixi-UMS PS-printer can read out the fax number and the subject from the document to be printed and can transfer it to the mail client, together with the printed document. This way, a fax is addressed and sent automatically.

For this, the text of the document is browsed by means of Ghostscript and the fax number/subject is read out.

The ixi-UMS PS printer is part of the ixi-UMS Business Client Tools. Prerequisite is the installation of GhostScript on the workstations.
