Save ixi-UMS messages locally only

By default, the following messages are created by ixi-UMS Enterprise and sent by e-mail:

·	Incoming / received ixi-UMS messages

·	Feedback / shipping confirmations

·	Information to the standard recipient, when an outgoing ixi-UMS message is deleted

·	Error messages from the ixi-UMS Render Connector

If no mailserver is available or the ixi-UMS messages should not be sent to the mail server, all incoming ixi-UMS messages and confirmations can be stored in the local database and deleted by the ixi-UMS SMTP Connector.

In this case, the users can access all ixi-UMS messages and confirmations only via ixi-UMS Web Journal.

Information on the default recipients and error messages will continue to be generated and sent as e-mail to the mail system.

For more information about the setting, refer to the manual of the installed ixi-UMS mail Server Connector s.

The Incoming Print option is still available.

The functions "Sender Identification", "OCR" and "Remote inquiry of the voice mailbox by telephone" are not available and must be deactivated.
