After having activated the Extended User Look-Up it has to be determined, what shall happen with LDAP connection problems (no connection with the data base, login failed).

With extensions that are entered in the DDI-Mapping with "Voice", NO extended user look-up is executed by default, because this feature is executed by the ixi-UMS Voice-Mail Server

.

When no ixi-UMS Voice-Mail Server is installed or some numbers are defined without this feature, the extended user look-up can be activated.

 

If "Write resolved e-mail address to journal" is enabled, not only the recipient numbers, but also the e-mail addresses of the recipients are logged in the journal with incoming calls.

 

The log is meant for troubleshooting and should only be activated when required.
