LDAP Settings

At "LDAP Settings", the connection data must be entered. The connection data of the installed ixi-UMS mail Server Connector Instanz shall be adopted. This function requires only "read" access to the database.

 

When the connection data differ from the settings of the installed ixi-UMS mail Server Connector or when only an ixi-UMS Connector WITHOUT LDAP-connection is installed, e.g.

- ixi-UMS FAPI Connector

- ixi-UMS Connector for use with SAP R/3,

the connection data can be entered individually.

 

SenderInfoLDAP

 

Further servers can be entered optionally. When the first server is not accessible, the alternative servers are used.

 

All of these servers must be domain controllers / LDAP-database server of the same domain on the same level.

In MultiSite operation, this feature is only available per ixi-UMS Kernel and not per site. If multiple LDAP databases are used, the required data would have to be combined in a central LDAP database. eg Meta Directory
