LDAP Settings

At "LDAP Settings", the connection data must be entered. The connection data of the installed ixi-UMS mail Server Connector Instanz shall be adopted. This function requires only "read" access to the database.

The configuration of the ixi-UMS Web Journals is valid for all instances. It can only be made available for one LDAP connection (i.e poosible only for a ixi-UMS mail Server Connector instance if applicable)

 

JWebViewLDAPEinstellung

When the connection data differ from the settings of the installed ixi-UMS mail Server Connector or when only an ixi-UMS Connector WITHOUT LDAP-connection is installed, e.g.

- ixi-UMS FAPI Connector

- ixi-UMS Connector for SAP R/3,

the connection data can be entered individually.

 

If the first LDAP-server is not available, the query on the next one is started.

 

The query on the next server is executed until either this server is no longer available or the "Apache Service” is restarted.

 

All the servers must be domain controllers / LDAP-data base servers of the same domain on the same level.
