Country

The country in which the ixi-UMS Kernel is located must be selected. Depending on the country selection there are different possibilities to send SMS.

Provider

Select the desired provider for sending SMS messages.

Confirm the selection with "Apply" before you make further settings. It is not necessary to restart the ixi-UMS Kernel Service.

If you use an S2M connection or a VoIP connection with more than 8 channels, select the corresponding entry S2M_xxx.

If the desired provider is not offered, please contact the ixi-UMS-Support.

Max. messages

If an SMS is longer than 128bit (max. 160 standard characters), the ixi-UMS Kernel automatically splits it into two or more parts and concatenates them. Thus the SMS is displayed as one SM in most mobile phones. With Max. Messages defines the maximum number of parts (= SMS messages) an oversized SMS is split into. If the message text is defined here for a longer period of time, sending is rejected and the user receives a corresponding notification.
