ixi-UMS New Message

On this page you can send SMS messages and faxes, depending on your authorization.

SMS dispatch

Enter the destination phone number in the "Recipient number" field. It is recommended to enter the phone number in international format.

In the text field "SMS content" you can enter the text for the SMS. An SMS consists of approx. 160 pages. If special characters are included in the text, the number is reduced.

If more characters are entered, the server will split the text into several SMS. The allowed number of single SMS per entered text is defined on the server. Ask your administrator about this.

To send the message, click on the -button.

Fax transmission

Enter the destination phone number in the "Recipient number" field. It is recommended to enter the phone number in international format.

You can specify a PDF file as the fax to be sent. The PDF file must contain all pages to be sent. Depending on the installation on the server, a cover sheet can be placed in front. Ask your administrator about this.

You can drag and drop the PDF file into the browser or upload it from your computer via "Select file".

To send the message, click on the -button.

Reports

You will receive the information whether the message was sent successfully or not in the ixi-UMS Web Journal and/or by e-mail in your mail client.
