ixi-UMS User Management

All the ixi-UMS User information (e.g. sender number, send permission, etc.) are stored in a field/attribute in the LDAP-database. The options available are independent of the LDAP-database, which is used.

For outgoing messages, the permissions, sender number, header information and additional optonal settings are read out from this attribute.

Inbound Routing means the delivery of UMS messages into the e-mail inbox of the user. The ixi-UMS Mail Server Connector searches the call number coming in at the ixi-UMS Kernel in the user data base by LDAP.

The search parameters for the fax recipient number depend on the database used and are entered by the setup.

The fax recipient number can generally be entered in each unique attribute. In that case the must be adapted.
