LDAP Settings

At "LDAP Settings", the connection data must be entered. The connection data of the installed ixi-UMS Mail Server Connector Instanz shall be adopted. This function requires only "read" access to the database.

When the connection data differ from the settings of the installed ixi-UMS Mail Server Connector or when only an ixi-UMS Connector WITHOUT LDAP-connection is installed, e.g.

- ixi-UMS FAPI Connector

- ixi-UMS SI CON Connector,

the connection data can be entered individually.

Further servers can be entered optionally. When the first server is not accessible, the alternative servers are used. All of these servers must be domain controllers / LDAP-database server of the same domain on the same level.

Use TLS/LDAPS

If the connection is to be established via TLS/LDAPS, the corresponding certificate must be available in the computer. For more information, please refer to the ixi-UMS Kernel manual under "Additional information - Certificates".
