The ixi-UMS Message Distribution Server enables:
·Outbound Routing
On the basis of the recipient number or a definded sender information, the outgoing message is routed to the location configured for that.
·Inbound Routing
Incoming ixi-UMS messages are picked up by different locations and are distributed to the single systems via a central system via one or multiple ixi-UMS Connectors (e.g. ixi-UMS SI CON Connector, ixi-UMS Mail Server Connector etc.).
·Load Balancing
Outgoing messages are distributed to multiple ixi-UMS Kernels for an optimal balancing.
·High Availability
When a location is not available, outgoing messages are passed on to a still available ixi-UMS Kernel of the location or of another location.
