Phone numbers can be blocked, to that no messages shall be sent or from that no messages shall be received.

The rules cannot be applied for MWI-signaling or SMS-messages.

Incoming - blocking numbers from that messages are received

Calls from the sender numbers entered here are not accepted.

Please take into consideration that the number must be entered the way the sender number is signaled at the ixi-UMS Kernel

·If the outside line is delivered by the PBX, it must be entered as well.

·A number conversion - if used - must be performed in advance.

The call number (Calling Party Number) transmitted to ixi-UMS Enterprise by the PBX can be detected by the ISDN-board / XCAPI or by the ixi-UMS Kernel by means of a trace.

Outgoing - blocking numbers to that messages are sent

The blocking of call numbers is realized according to the service (Fax, SMS).

All the possible addressing must be entered without outside line.

When the ixi-UMS Kernel receives a message to an entered number, an NDR with the predefined text is delivered to the sender.
