In order to be able to forward and answer messages with ixi-UMS by phone the addressing must be consistent with the routing entered in the mail server and the Relay-Enabling, if necessary. The entries are read out of the data of the installed ixi-UMS Mail Server Connector during the setup.

By default, the sender as stated above is searched with the remote inquiry of messages.

In rare cases, the e-mail sender in the incoming message can have been changed by "rerouting" of the mail servers. In this case, the "template for search" must be adjusted manually.

Please contact ixi-UMS support department in cases like that.

Please take care that the address templates in the ixi-UMS Mail Server Connector always match with that in the ixi-UMS Voice-Mail Server.

Please check the routing entries in your mail server.
