Service Voice

If service Voice is licensed, a default announcement is played for every configured extension, which tells the caller the extension called. Furthermore, the caller can leave a message that is delivered to the inbox of the respective user as WAV-file.

The licensing of "Voice" contains the installation of the ixi-UMS Voice-Mail Server and so provides the features "remote inquiry of voice mails" and "recording of announcements" by the users as well as the Notifier Express.

Minimum recording duration of Voice Box

Please specify the time in seconds to be used as the minimum recording time for incoming messages. Any messages left behind that are shorter than the minimum recording time will not be delivered to the user.

This setting is to prevent messages without content from being delivered

Maximum recording duration of Voice Box

Please enter the time in seconds, which is the maximum recording time for

·incoming news and

·for the length of the stored announcement

should be used.

After this time interval the recording of the message will be aborted.
