Login via Telephone

It can be determined whether the users are allowed to log in via telephone by default or not. If this is allowed, the users can change their announcements and profiles via telephone. A connection to the mail server therewith is NOT released.

 

PIN

When a welcome mail is sent, a one-time PIN is generated and entered in the LDAP when sending the mail. The minimum length of the PIN can specified here.

The change of the setting is NOT imparted to the already configured users.

The new settings are valid with new users and with the next change.

 

The field Default PIN ist only  available if no Welcomemail is generated on the first call.

The PIN entered here is valid when users have not entered a PIN AND no welcome mail is generated with the first call.

 

It can be determined if and after how many unsuccessful login attempts of the PIN the "Voice-mailbox" is disabled and ifthe user then shall be notified by e-mail.

Optionally, it can be determined if and when the users must change their PIN.  

 

 

Phone access
By default, the user can log in from any phone by entering the PIN on his ixi-UMS Voice-Mailbox. Access can be restricted or extended per user.

If dialing into the mailbox is not possible in principle or only possible from an office telephone or mobile phone (or optionally without PIN entry), this can be specified globally here.
