Remark: This dialog is deactivated when usermanagement is disabled.

Shows list of all available MetaDirectory users except user "LDAP root".

Symbol shows whether user is activated or not. If not himself, but through group membership, the group-activation-symbol is shown.
Username is the name used for login to MetaDirectory.
Accessprofile attached to the user with symbol showing the actual profiles state.

User

If integrated usermanagement is used, any number of users may be added. Button <Add...> creates a new user and opens dialog settings for user.
The Delete-button deletes the selected user.
Doubleclick or Settings... opens the user properties-dialog for the user.

User properties

General

• Username (loginname) should be unique.
• If integrated userdatabase is active, a password can be provided for him. The password inputfield is invisible for all other modes.
• A user is related to exactly one accessprofile. The configured nodes of this profile will be shown. Deactivated profiles show up with a gray symbol in the list below.
• Access to nodes is granted additive by accessprofiles of the groupswhich the user is member of. The nodes origin is shown by the tooltip.
  Nodes from group-accessprofiles are shown italic. If user or group is inactiv, and therefore access to not possible, the node is shown grayed.
• Inactive users show up with gray symbols.

Member of

If the user was imported from estos UCServer or Microsoft® Active Directory® the list of groups where he is member is shown.
