Replicator for DATEV Basis

The installation of a DATEV Basis workstation including a master data service capable of running is required for using the DATEV SDD replicator.
DATEV manages its communication connections (KV) from Phone Number, Email, Fax, and Internet in a dynamic list, MetaDirectory in statically assigned fields. The order of THE CT is not set in DATEV pro. The fields are therefore assigned after they occur.
If not all KV of a DATEV addressee can be accommodated in a MetaDirectory contact, a copy of the created data record is created, which contains the further CT data.

Thereby, the MetaDirectory fields will be filled sequentially as follows:
KV-medium "telefone": PhoneBusiness, PhoneBusiness2, PhoneHome, PhoneHome2, ISDNTelephoneNumber, CallbackTelephoneNumber, AssistantTelephoneNumber, PhoneMobile, CarTelephoneNumber, RadioTelephoneNumber, PagerTelephoneNumber and TTYTTDTelephoneNumber.
KV-medium "fax": FaxBusiness and FaxHome
KV-Medium "email": EMail, EMail1 and EMail2
KV-medium "internet": WebPageURL

Detailed information:

The KV entries, including their comment fields, are additionally stored in an XML structure in the Custom0 field, with the exception of the fixed fields "Standard" or "Management", whose notes are written according to Custom1 or Custom2.

By serially populating the phone numbers of a contact, the phone number fields in the search assistant should also be activated accordingly.

Procedure for Adding a Replicator

  1. Select the type of data source
    Select the database type "DATEV Base".
  2. Please enter the credentials which should be used to access the source database.
  3. Select Use communication link comments as the names of the contact personsif you want the contact to use the content of the comment field instead of the displayed name of the addressee. You will then create your own records for each communication connection with a recorded comment and copy the comment to the Displayed Name field.
  4. If "Accept phone numbers marked with standard and management for all contact instances of a contact partner" is selected, the fields marked with "Standard" or "GL" in DATEV are copied to the Fields Primarytelephone or Companymaintelephone.
    Note: If you search for these phone numbers, all generated records of the addressee also appear in the results list.
    If you press Next, the connection to the master data service is established.
  5. If Replicate inactive addressees is selected, they are also transferred to the MetaDirectory database.
  6. Field mapping, which source fields are copied to which LDAP fields
    This field assignment should not be changed.
