Overview

The ixi-UMS Message Distribution Server (ixi-UMS MDS) enables the connection of several locations to one or multiple central Connector-servers. The sketch below shows the constellation with one Connector-Server.

Outgoing messages can be sent from different locations on the basis of their recipient numbers or defined sender information, so that costs can be saved.  

Incoming messages can be received at the locations, be picked up by means of ixi-UMS Message Distribution Server and be delivered to a central mail server.
