PrintUnread

With ixi-UMS PrintUnread, faxes that have been unread for a certain period of time can be printed out automatically.

This feature is only available in combination with the  ixi-UMS Mail Server Connector.

It is required that the mail client can create return receipts according to RFC 3798 and that the mail server forwards these to the ixi-UMS Mail Server Connector.

With the delivery of the received fax messages to the mail server, a return receipt is requested.

When the ixi-UMS Connector does not receive this return receipt in the fixed period of time, the fax is printed out at the network printer.

The setting can be configured and activated globally for all the users or individually per fax recipient number.  

The fax messages can only be printed out if they are available in TIF-format.
