Search

By default, the call number is searched in the same LDAP-attributes as with the ixi-UMS Mail Server Connector.

With the user look-up, it is important that the result of the search is returned very quickly. If the search lasts for too long, there is a disconnection from the remote station and no connection can be established.

It may make sense with large LDAP-data bases to limit the search to one particular attribute in order to shorten the time for the search.

Click on "Edit" in order to edit the search string.

Please note:

If the search string contains errors, the LDAP search can not be performed and the ixi-UMS Kernel will stop accepting messages.
