Voice

The ixi-UMS Kernel contains a simple voice mailbox feature. Users can receive voice, fax and SMS messages under the UMS number. Messages of all types are displayed in the user's inbox.

If the fax number should not be the same as the voice mailbox number, different number ranges can be configured for receiving fax and voice messages.

Announcements can be recorded and can be assigned to all the users, to single extensions (centrally at the ixi-UMS Kernel) or per user.

The formats

To integrate recorded announcements into the ixi-UMS Enterprise system, the following file and content formats are required.
