The providers allow you to use gateways in order to use certain features.

Depending on the provider, there are different costs and some providers require you to have a static IP in order to use the service.

·ixi-UMS Enterprise creates a separate SMS for each recipient. The function "multiple recipients per SMS" does not need to be supported by the provider for using ixi-UMS. However, you should make sure that many SMS messages can be sent one after the other when you send SMS messages with several recipients. SMS messages with more than 160 characters are split into several SMS and reassembled at the receiver. Provided the provider supports this.
·For some providers, you can also provide the reply address when sending the SMS message. If the provider allows you to do this, you must enter the mobile phone number in the user management under "Mobile number".
Note that this number must be in International format and may only have 16 characters for many providers.
