Emergency Mode

The ixi-UMS Enterprise system can be set to the so-called ”Emergency Mode“ event-driven.

When the system switches over to the Emergency Mode, only an authorized group of people  - “VIP”-users – can make use of ixi-UMS for quick and reliable emergency notes.

Any other UMS-message is rejected. It is guaranteed this way that the server is only available to the authorized persons and that important messages are processed quickly.

Furthermore, the types of UMS-messages are restricted.

Exclusively

- faxes without attachment

- faxes created with the ixi-UMS Client Tools

- SMS-messages

- voice- and TTS-mails

can be sent.
