LDAP Settings

At "LDAP Settings", the connection data can be entered. The connection data of the installed ixi-UMS Mail Server Connector Instanz shall be adopted. This function requires only "read" access to the database.

If a domain structure including sub-domains shall be browsed in the Active Directory environment, the search must be executed via the "Global Catalog" (Port 3268).

If only an ixi-UMS Connector WITHOUT LDAP connection is installed ixi-UMS FAPI Connector,ixi-UMS SI CON Connector), the LDAP connection data can be entered individually.

Further servers can be entered optionally. When Server1 is not available, the other servers are used.

All the server must be domain controllers / LDAP-data base servers of the same domain on the same level.

Use TLS/LDAPS

If the connection is to be established via TLS/LDAPS, the corresponding certificate must be available in the computer.
