All the "Connector-Directories" must be stored centrally in a subdirectory.
These are not the installation directories of the respective Connectors but the directories, from which the outgoing messages are picked up by the ixi-UMS Render Connector or ixi-UMS Kernel (Connector OUT-directory) and in which incoming messages are stored (Connector IN-directory).
A central directory for the transfer between ixi-UMS Render Connector and ixi-UMS Connector as well as a central directory between ixi-UMS Render Connector and ixi-UMS Kernel are required.
The structure in these directories is the same. The subdirectories are refreshed / created when restarting the ixi-UMS Render Connector.
Even in distributed environments, the specified directories only need to be changed in special cases.

|
Connector root directory
Interface between ixi-UMS Render Connector and ixi-UMS Connectors. If the ixi-UMS Render Connector is installed on a different server, the value should be the same as the Kernel connector root directory.
KernelConnector root directory
Interface between ixi-UMS Render Connector and ixi-UMS Kernel.
With the installation, the Connector "ixi-UMS Kernel Test" is entered at Connector Routing Entries, which is meant to provide a storage directory for the first tries (e.g. sending faxes out of the queue).
|
If you have multiple Connectors connected to your ixi-UMS Kernel, you can specify which Connector should handle which incoming messages (by recipient address).

|
For this purpose you must specify the Connector name (directory name) and a routing entry for the Connector.
The routing entry may contain wildcards (*, ?).
Note: The routing entry must be configured as follows:
+49 8142 4838*
+4981424838* with E.164
|

|
If messages are received whose recipient number cannot be assigned to an ixi-UMS Connector because of the configuration, these messages are deposited in the "NoRoute" directory and must be copied to an existing ixi-UMS Connector manually.
