The estos UCServer can monitor login attempts and block them if they are invalid.
The following are monitored:
After a certain number of failed login attempts, users are deactivated or locked out in UCServer. This prevents, for example, accounts in Active Directory® from being locked due to failed login attempts.
Temporarily block a user
Specify the number of failed logins and the time window. Once this limit is reached, the account will be temporarily locked for the specified period.
The user receives a corresponding message on the ProCall client.
Deactivate user
If the specified thresholds are reached, the user object is deactivated and must be reactivated by the administrator.
It is important to note that login attempts do not "accumulate." If a user is temporarily blocked, no further login attempts will be accepted, counted, or forwarded to the connected Active Directory® for the specified duration.
Once the registration has been approved, the count starts over at 0
The following applies to both fields: If a "0" is entered or the field contents are cleared, the monitoring function is disabled.
