Manage Locations

ixi-UMS Enterprise can be connected to multiple locations/telephone systems

Condition:

At least 1 separate controller is configured for each location/telephone system

All connections use the same CAPI. That means: All connections use either VoIP (XCAPI) or the same ISDN/LAN-CAPI.

After installation of the ixi-UMS Kernel the location "Default" is available. This location can be renamed or deleted.

Further locations can be created via "Add".

The locations can be activated and deactivated. If a MutliSide license is installed, multiple locations can be activated. Otherwise, only one location can be activated at a time.  The channels of deactivated sites are displayed as "Inactive" in the <%NAME%> Monitor.

Please note:

"MultiSide" operation is available in test mode. If this is not enabled in the licence entered later, the ixi-UMS Kernel service will not be started. One location must then be selected.

The settings for connection to the telephone system and the ixi-UMS services are available separately for each location.

If several locations are entered, the location mapping must be used to define to which location outgoing messages should be transferred.
