Journal Backup

The journal data base should be emptied regularly, as otherwise it takes to long to open the data base in order to display the journal in ixi-UMS Kernel Monitor

Depending on how many faxes are sent daily / weekly, it may make sense to perform the backup more often than in the default setting (monthly).

Should older entries be also still available (e.g. for ixi-UMS Web Journal) , can be fixed how many days should be preserved.

For every backup, an own sub-directory (backup folder) is created. The designation can be entered at "Format of..".

Default: yyyymmdd =  YearMonthDay = 20180516

When "Archiving" is activated, the archived files should be stored to the stated path with the journal data base.

A backup can be opened via the journal display, with using IBQuery or via ODBC.
