In Template for email sender address you can determine, how the e-mail sender address for incoming ixi-UMS Messages shall be composed. It should be consistent with the address for outgoing UMS-messages.

The following variables are available:

$(number) = Sender number

imperative, as otherwise e.g. replies are not possible

$(addrtype) = Address type (Fax, Voice, SMS)

imperative; must be contained in the template in order to detect the message type.

In special cases, the sender address for incoming messages differs from the addressing that users must use for outgoing messages. A reply-to an incoming message would not be possible in this case.

For these environments, a deviating ReplyTo template can be specified, which is entered as a "Replay address" in the e-mail of the incoming message.

The format must be as described above..e.g.:$(number)@$(addrtype).domain.net

If a display name is determined, this name is displayed with all the inbound messages. This is also valid for reports if no other display name is entered.

There is no differentiation here regarding the message type (Fax,Voice,SMS).

You can also specify a Deviating display name for reports of the ixi-UMS system that is different from the name for incomming UMS-messages..
