IMAP

IMAP is used to access users' mailboxes via IMAP protocol.

Since IBM Lotus Domino 6, a so-called "master account" (compare Microsoft Exchange) is used for this approach. In ordert to make this possible, some changes at

·IMAP configuration document

·users' mailboxes

·"master account"

must be performed.

Note:

In order to use ixi-UMS IMAP queries, you have to create a fulltext index for mobile enabled mailboxes. Please note: A fulltext index exhausts hard disk free space on your IBM Lotus Domino Server.
