General

Depending on the country, there are different ways for sending SMS

 

HW-SMS_Allgemein

Country

SMS configuration for selected country. This contains e.g. a list of mobile providers and provider access numbers.

 

Mode

Several providers offer the service "SMS via fixed lines". Choose the wanted provider for the sending of the SMS-messages.

 

Use an S2M-connection or a VoIP-connection with more than 8 channels, select the respective entry S2M_xxx.

If more than 20 SMS shall be sent per minute, the delivery rate can be raised. Please contact %Firma%'s support department for this.

 

 

If the wanted provider is not included in the list, please turn to %Firma%'s support department.

 

Modememulation: The ISDN-board must support the B-channel protocols B1 = MODEM-ASYNC, B2 = MODEM, B3 = MODEM.

 

Max. Messages

Maximum number of SMS messages which are sent for one e-mail message. This happens if the e-mail message size exceeds the SMS size . An SMS always has 128bit - max 160 standard characters (without umlauts or special characters). If longer texts are sent, they are split into several SMS and put back together at the receiver
