You can get a notification on the phone (MWI) when a new voice-message arrives in your inbox.
When the messages are accessed via dial-in by telephone, the MWI-status on the phone is reset as soon as you call the message menu.
When the messages are accessed via the mail client, the message counter and the status indication on the telephone has/have to be reset manually.
